Delighted to be the first ♥️ here today! Thanks for all your fabulous Substack goodness this past year. Enjoy your festive break and here’s to bigger & better in 2025. Relentless marketing all the way 🤩
Great post Kate, so simple, yet effective! I always make a point of clicking the ❤️ if I read a post I enjoy as it goes a long way.
Enjoy the Christmas break, I’ve also decided to take a break over Christmas, fully switching off for a couple of weeks makes the world of difference (I also do the same in the summer).
Looking forward to seeing what you have to share in 2025. xx
Just found you! Now I have to wait?! Oh the agony! I just binged on your posts they are fabulous. Now I feel like I'm waiting on the next Netlflix season of Bridgerton. 😭😭
I tried to give you multiple ❤s (10 was what I wanted to do! You deserve them for the "liking" advice.), but it wouldn't let me do more than 1. If it can be done on Medium, why not here? Anyway, consider mentally adding nine more ❤s to what will probably be a massive field of hearts, proving how glad we are to have the reminder out there. Why didn't I think of that?
I find it helps me really appreciate what my 'usual' is to have a change, as I'm always missing my day-to-day after about 10 days out... which I found the optimum length of time to have a holiday.
So after a whole month I will be craving the 'self-imposed time pressures' of my Substack commitments. 😂 😂
If you’re on a Mac, just press control-command-spacebar all at the same time when your cursor is in a text field in any Application (including this note) and it will bring up the emoji picker panel.
Or if in Chrome, in a Substack Draft go to Edit => Emoji & Symbols.
If you’re on a PC, you’re on your own, I’ve no idea! 😂
And if, like me, you're seeing the comments here quite a while later, you right-click in a text field and select 'emoji' from the little menu that pops up or press the windows key and the '.' key🙂.
Great post! I always felt hesitant to ❤️ my own post, but you're right. We have got to break the ice.
I'm delighted to see we are on the same wave-length when it comes to ‘taking break’. Good on you Kate and enjoy the Christmas! I took forward to more from you in January 👏

Hee hee, I was going to say, you even managed to beat me to the ❤️! 👏
I will of course be lurking around Substack as a reader over the following month, so I'm sure I'll see you around.
Have a lovely Christmas, it was an absolute pleasure meeting you this year! 😘
Back atcha 🤗

Such amazing feedback, thank you so much!
Can I quote you on that? 😉👏
What?! Christmas month without Kate. Now I'm bah humbug. Enjoy your time away - good for you for taking what you need.
Aaah, thanks Shelby! I’m sure I will see you around here over the festive period, I just won’t be posting as much. 😘

Awwww, thanks Cindy, much appreciated! 😘
Like the tip on liking your own post and asking them to restack or comment at the end.
This is so helpful! Thank you for posting!!
Happy festiveness - see you on the other side!
Have a fab Christmas, see you in January! 😘

Hey Kate, generous advice on all levels and it might be just the nudge. I need to give myself permission to take some time off.
I love Substack and I heart in many places. Wintering is calling me.
I’ll see you around 🌹💙🌹
Have a restful reset .
Go for it and take some time out! 👏

Hi Kate. What a great decision to take a break although we'll miss you but it's empowering for all of us.
Thanks Patsy! Have a fab festive season, and I'll see you in the New Year if not before! 😘
